Fredy Ramsoondar,
CGA, B.Comm.
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Ramsoondar has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He joined the United Protection as Vice President of Finance and Administration in 1999. Fredy has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and is a Certified General Accountant; Microsoft Certified Solutions Provider as well as a Certified Network Administrator. As the Chief Executive Officer, Fredy has already started to engage key allies in order to direct the company to a much larger position within the market UPSG services and also within the investment sector. The goal is to make United Protection Security Group Inc. a $100 million company by the end of 2014 and one of the largest security companies in Canada.


Mr. Curtis Long,  Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer

Mr. Long has over 35 years of commercial and legal experience. He joined United Protection Security Group Inc. in 2004. Curtis moved into a management role in 2009 with continuing responsibilities for legal affairs and regulatory compliances. Curtis has been a senior officer with two other Public Companies and has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions.



Mr. Andrew Clarke,  Executive Vice President, Operations, Sales & Marketing

Mr. Clarke has a policing background serving 22 years in Ontario before retiring and moving to Edmonton where he was the Edmonton General Manager working for Initial Security/GARDA with over 1000 employees under his purview.  He joined United Protection Services Inc. in October of 2006 and has held positions as VP and Regional Operations Manager for Northern Alberta and Saskatchewan in 2007 as well as Executive VP of National Sales & Marketing. Andrew is a former member of several Federal, Provincial and Municipal committees dealing with Emergency Security Preparedness, Y2K Planning for the City of Toronto, Policing Adequacies Standards and Firearms for the Province of Ontario to name three of several . As it relates to the private security industry Mr. Clarke is a proven effective manager with an excellent track record in stabilizing difficult contracts and creating solutions most suitable to specific client needs. Andrew has helped rebrand UPSG over the past three years.


Mr. Don Dassanayake, Senior Vice President of Operations, Eastern Canada

Mr. Dassanayake is the former Chief Financial Officer of Group 4, Canada. He was also a senior member of the executive management and acquisition teams and contributed to Group 4 growing its Canadian operations from $23 million to $200 million in annual revenues. During his tenure with Group 4 he was involved with closing several successful acquisitions. Don has over 20 years experience in the security industry. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and past member of the Institute of Data Processing Management in the United Kingdom.


Mr. Earl John, CPP, President, United First Nations Corp

Mr. John was the former Vice President of Aboriginal Affairs and Sales & Marketing (since 1999) starting as a security officer with United Protection Services in 1995. Mr. John brings previous military and management experience with 10 years of business management in Arctic Canada. As a recently designated Certified Protection Professional (CPP-ASIS) Earl is dedicated to building relationships with our aboriginal communities with the development and rapid growth of United First Nation Corp. UFNC now employs over 250 security officers of aboriginal decent throughout Western Canada. United Protection Services  was also recognized with an Alberta Chamber of Commerce Business Award of Distinction – “Best Practice Aboriginal Relations 2011.”
