Mr. Ramsoondar has served as the Company’s Vice President of Finance and Administration since December 1999. Fredy has a career in corporate finance spanning some 15 years, including areas of business expansion through franchising acquisitions and strategic alliances. Mr. Ramsoondar received a B.Comm degree from the University of South Africa in 1994 and articled under International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) which will be adopted by the Company on January 1, 2011. Fredy is a Certified Accountant, holding several complementary technical qualifications, and an active participant in emerging trends in finance and accounting.

Sigurd Jorstad, B.Comm
Executive Chairman of the Board

Mr. Jorstad is the original founder and principal (1989) of United Protection Services Inc., and is the Executive Chairman of the Board. In 1985 he formed the Security Officer Career College Inc. to provide entry level training to the security industry.

Richard Shuhany, B.A., C.A.,

Director

Mr. Shuhany is Chairman of the Audit Committee of United Protection Security Group Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Alberta and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta. He is president of Shuhany & Company Ltd., specializing in corporate advisory services involving corporate finance and strategic planning. He is also President & CEO of First Surveillance Inc., a leading edge provider of Digital Video Surveillance equipment and systems.

Previously, he was Director of Corporate Finance for Ernst & Whinney (Edmonton) for 7 years and was involved as an advisor in numerous acquisitions, divestitures and financing. He was a founding partner of Lambridge Capital Partners specializing in mid market corporate finance activities and was Vice-President of a merchant banking/venture capital group operating in western Canada.

He has held various senior financial positions, including CFO in the real estate development industry and for an international consulting engineering firm.

Mr. Gerard Davies,
founder of Davies Park & Associates Inc.

Mr. Davies received a Master of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1973 and a certificate in Personnel Administration from the University of Alberta in 1978. He is a Certified Management Consultant. Mr. Davies is the founder of Davies Park & Associates, a national executive search firm with offices in Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver and has extensive experience in human resource management.

Mr. Gary Jones,
former superintendent with Edmonton Police Services

Mr. Jones has thirty-one years police experience with the Edmonton Police Service, rising from the rank of Cadet Constable to Superintendent in charge of the Major Crimes Division. He is recognized as the founding police co-coordinator for the highly successful Crime Stoppers program of Edmonton and Northern Alberta, and the first Canadian awarded the Crime Stoppers International Co-coordinator of the Year Award. He also has experience in administrative law with the Métis Settlements Ombudsman (“MSO”) as Senior Advisor investigating allegations of Administrative Unfairness and Conflict of Interest on Alberta’s eight Métis Settlements. He was appointed as Alberta Métis Settlements Ombudsman by the Minister of Aboriginal Relations on June 05, 2007 for two year contract duration.
